Wordless Sunday |
Rain, rain, go away
all the children want to play...
...so between thunderstorms they did.
Never mind that the game was cancelled. The team played anyway.
Against their dads.
Rolling in mud between thunderstorms.
Little girls set up shop between thunderstorms...
Attempting to make a buck between passing showers...
Waving down cars to no avail. No one came except a moneyless Scrag.
So the shopkeepers called it a day, packed up and went inside... just before the rain came.
Between thunderstorms there was gleeful trampoline-bouncing...
...barefooted ball-playing...
... bare-armed leaf-throwing in the mild Auckland non-winter.
That's what we managed to do between thunderstorms.
The rest of the time we snuggled by the fire, couch-bound, while the rain fell and the wind blew.

What did you do?
